General Overview of the position:
•Provide live application support, maintenance and modifications
•Provide billing support for PAS and related applications
•Develop additional supporting code modules to meet or enhance game and data requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Live Application Support
•Work with Technical Services to help ensure developed applications are maintained with a high availability and performance in production.
•Work with Customer Services team to resolve application billing/customer issues quickly and satisfactorily.
•Work with Commercial Services team to ensure billing/informatics related systems are kept working, accurate and up to date.
•Tracking application bugs and incidents and investigating the related code elements, recommending fixes and developing, testing and implementing these fixes via release and change management.
Design & Implementation
•Working to agreed specification and schedule, implement any required code amendments or new modules to the required standards.
•Notify management of changes arising in agreed specification and schedule.
•Ensure all code is produced in line with coding standards, is stored in the code repository and is documented to a good standard
•Report progress to management and inform re implementation issues
•Test all code against specification to ensure it performs as required.
•Fix any bugs identified in supported code.
Reporting and Informatics
1.Add or modify reports or informatics data sources to provide required information for the business as requested
2.Ensure that data for such reports is accurate and up to date and what it represents is correctly understood via correct labeling and documentation.
3.Providing data extracts and feeds as required for the business and supporting needs
Person Specification:
•Qualified (or equivalent experience) in computing/programming.
•Good standard of general education
•Minimum of 2 year relevant development experience in Online/Web-based systems.
